Napoleon Perdis Blush Patrol Review

Hey everyone,

Before I get into the review, I thought I’d explain my lack of posts. I’ve been a bit MIA lately and haven’t posted in a hot minute. And there’s no reason for it other than that I wasn’t really feeling it, Blogging started to feel more like a chore rather than something I loved.

so I took a step back and gave it a rest, But I’m so excited to be back and better than ever!

Now back to what’s really important!

Today I’m back with a review on the Napoleon Perdis Blush Patrol.

Spring has sprung here in Australia meaning we are trading matte skin and dark vampy lips for bronzy glowing skin and soft lip shades. And this is the perfect product to help ease into the season.

Although this is marketed as a blush, I have never and probably will never use it as one. This ‘blush’ is so beautiful and shimmery that I use it as a highlight.

It’s a gorgeous rose gold shade that makes your skin look like it’s been kissed by the sun. And who doesn’t want that right?

I find myself reaching for this product every morning, whether I’m going to work or just hanging out at home.

I use mine with a small tapered highlight brush on the high points of my cheeks, under my brows, tip of my nose and cupids bow. You could spray your brush with some Fix+ and use it wet for a really intense look.

I think this product would suit all skin tones. Depending on how heavy handed you are with it, as it does have a lot of colour in it because it’s technically a blush.

You can pick this up at Napoleon counters or online here for AUD $60

Styling Distressed Denim Jeans

Hey everyone, today I’m back with 3 different ways to style distressed denim jeans.

I’ve shown you how to take a plain pair for jeans from drab to fab here, now I’ve put together some cute outfit ideas for the Spring/Summer months ahead of us.

I love these three outfits because they can be laid back for a day out shopping, and then dressed up with a tailored blazer for a night out. I love the little pops of colour in each one. And I think the backpack for the third outfit makes it so fun.

You could also add a camel coloured coat to the second outfit and swap the mint green necklace for a gold chunky chain, and booties for a more fall appropriate look for those of you coming into the cooler months.

Spring into a new wardrobe

Hey everyone, today I’m back with two outfits for Spring.

Spring is fast approaching here in Australia, so I’ve put together two spring appropriate outfits. Like always when it comes to fashion posts, I always try and incorporate some pieces of clothing that most woman already have. Boyfriend jeans were big this Winter and they can so easily transition into Spring and Summer by adding a sheer shirt and some bright accessories.

And of course a simple summer dress can transition into spring by adding a light cardigan and scarf. Although it does get a little warmer in Spring, you can find that you do get  some chilly days, so I always like to add a cardigan or jacket to my outfits so I’m always prepared. Especially in Melbourne.

I love being able to use pieces of clothing that I already have to transition into other seasons. And I think these looks are so versatile, and can take you from a day at work, to a casual weekend running errands.

And I haven’t even used any floral!
